Discover Bébé Confort’s lightest baby car seat. Combined with its ergonomic carrying handle, our Bébé Confort Citi is designed to make it easy for you to lift and carry everywhere.

Installation

No matter what car you drive, our Bébé Confort Citi can be easily attached. This baby car seat can be attached two different ways. Secure your baby car seat with the seat belt or with the ISOFIX anchorage points of your car. Our user manual will guide you through the installation steps to make sure everything is done properly.

For ISOFIX installation you need to make sure to use the right base. Once connected to your car’s ISOFIX, you can leave it installed in the car. Every time you use the car, our Citi car seat simply "clicks” onto the base. Indicators on the base notify you once installed correctly, so you are ready to "go”.

Citi can be installed with the CitiBase.

Safety

At Bébé Confort we have carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. External crash test centres, such as the German Automobile Organisation ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club), constantly test and approve our Bébé Confort car seats and bases for their dynamic safety and ease of use.

When Bébé Confort Citi was tested for safety by ADAC in 2016, it received an overall 4-star rating. Our safe and comfortable Citi car seat is equipped with a Side Protection System which, in case of a hard side impact, will absorb the force. This allows you to rest assured that your baby is well-protected at all times.

Because we want to make things that work for real families, Bébé Confort Citi has been constructed to be as light as possible. Along with its ergonomic carry handle, our Citi is easy to lift and carry, wherever you go.

Despite its light weight, at Bébé Confort we do not compromise your little one’s comfort. The seat has extra padding to ensure your baby’s comfort.

Removable cover

After using our Citi for a while, the seat is likely to get dirty. Your little one may get car sick at times. No matter what happens on the road, Bébé Confort’s car seat cover is machine washable and can easily be removed.

Travel system

Going for a short trip to visit the grandparents? How about a quick stop at the supermarket? Or a refreshing stroll outside? Take your little one along in our lightweight car seat, or use in combination with a stroller by attaching Citi to it in just a click.

Why do babies have to travel in a reward facing position?
Babies have a large and heavy head compared to the rest of their body. In addition, their neck muscles are not yet fully developed. If the baby is transported in a forward-facing position, his or her head will be thrown forward in the event of a head-on collision. This can cause serious neck injury and may even be fatal. By placing the baby in a rear-facing position, the forces exerted during the crash will be distributed across the baby’s entire back.
From what age can the support pillow be removed from the Bébé Confort infant car seat?
The support pillow provides your child with added comfort right after birth. There is no specific age at which the support pillow should be removed from the Bébé Confort car seat.This depends on the size of your child. Once you notice that your child is no longer lying comfortably because his or her head is lying on the ‘roll’, you can remove the support pillow from the Bébé Confort car seat.
When should my child switch from his first Bébé Confort infant car seat to the next car seat?
We recommend that your child remain in the first car seat, Group 0 or 0+ (0-13 months) i.e. facing backwards, as long as possible because this is the safest and usually the most comfortable position. As long as the back of your child's head is fully supported by the plastic shell, we recommend using the infant car seat. The length of the child’s legs is not an important factor here. It is extremely unwise to put a child into a larger, forward-facing car seat too early.
Can I install the Bébé Confort Citi on the front passenger seat?
Yes, you can install the Bébé Confort Citi on the front passenger seat, but only if the airbag has been deactivated. For extra safety and convenience, you can install the Citi with its belted base (Citi.base).
Why is it safer to install the Citi with the Citi.base?
According to European car safety research, around 30% of car seats are installed and used incorectly in the car. For infant carriers, there is several possible misuses: The infant carrier is installed in the wrong way (forward facing instead of rearward facing);  the vehicle belt routing can be wrong;  the vehicule belt can also not be well tight...in all these situations, in case of accidents or strong brake, the baby will not be well protected even if it's installed in the best safety car seat. It's the reason why it's key to correctly install the infant carrier in the car. Using a base will considerably reduce the risk of bad installation of the infant carrier in the car. By cliking the infant carrier on its base, staying in the car, the infant should always be secured properly to offer best safety for the baby in case of accidents. Furthermore, it's also very convenient for daily use, you only have to click the car seat on the base, and install the shoulder belt on the blue belt guide, behind the infant carrier.
